Welcome to Math Support Services
As a part of the Academic Success Center, Math Support Services provides assistance to students taking courses offered by the Department of Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science. Math Support Services is staffed by faculty math specialists, graduate teaching fellows, as well as peer tutors.
Tutoring is available for courses offered by the Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science Department, including but not limited to:
- Introduction to College Math
- Algebra
- Survey of Math
- Business Math
- Math for Elementary Education
- Pre-calculus
- Calculus
- Introduction to Computer Concepts
- Microcomputer Applications
- Physics
- Earth Science
- Statistics
There are also a wide range of course-related software programs available for student use in Schoo-Bemis Science Center, room 112.
Math Support Services operates primarily on a drop-in basis; however we do maintain a schedule for appointments, repeat visits, and tutor requests.
